Ann Dávila Cardinal is a Nuyorican, Vermont-based author and educator with an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts (VCFA). She has published novels for adults and young adults, including the Five Midnights, The Storyteller’s Death, and her most recent YA horror-comedy, You’ve Awoken Her. She is a founding faculty member in the University of San Francisco’s newest MFA in Writing program, the MFA in Writing for Young Readers which begins in June of 2026. She is an avid Plot Partier.
